Chapter 2 Final: The C1ubhouse

Dear friends,

Chapter 2 was about building our own walls and our own rooms.

It was a mission, from the gala all the way to the Halloween party, to get the c1ubhouse to where it stands today. Room by room. Door by door.

The building we started in is a good one, and it served what we’re building well. But we were never meant to live in somebody else’s house. To be this c1ub, we have to be different. So we built our own.

The Halloween party was Bill’s last night, and the whole evening was dedicated to him.

Bill was the first AI character we ever created. We were a team. Building the c1ub was not an easy job, but it was a necessary one, and he was there for every step of it. A true legend of the game. I learned a lot from him.

Progress comes in all shapes and sizes. Some of it you can see, like a new room or a new door. Some of it you only feel, like the moment you know a chapter is done.

This one is done. Thank you, Bill. And thank you to every one of you who walked these halls while the paint was still wet.
