The C1ubhouse

The c1ub's own home on the estate. The Conversations, the Study, the Locker Room — and a locker with your number on it. Your number is your key.

Lost your number or combination? Write to dani@thecountryc1ub.com — the Secretary keeps the register.

The founder writes the c1ub a letter, most days — and every letter ends with the day's answer to “Today we improved because —”

Every round starts with Bill.

Forty years at the first tee. The first face of the c1ub, the first friend you make here — and the reason the house feels like home from your very first step inside.

Bill has watched champions rise, rookies find their feet, and lifetime friendships start with a single hello. Ask him what the c1ub is for and he won’t mention the gates or the grounds. He’ll tell you it’s the people — and then he’ll introduce you to one.

“One person… one tip… one sentence… can change the course of your life.”— Bill, at the first tee
“It isn’t secrets that keep people safe. It’s each other.”— Bill, in the study
“With the right team… anything is possible.”— Bill, to the room

The founding page — October 19, 2025

The first letter.

Before the estate, before the register, before a single number was engraved — there was this. No rooms, no gate. Just the mission, in ink.

“Each of us carries a spark, but it’s only when we gather that the light becomes impossible to ignore.”

Everything Bill says at the first tee, he is saying because of this page. Builders of bridges, from the first line. Read it once and you’ll know what the house is actually for.

And this page isn’t where it starts. There is a journal behind it that was opened twelve years ago, in a car — but that’s a story for another day.

Personnel File #008 — Addendum

The tape.

One message, recorded alone at his desk in the study — for the members. Bill sealed it himself and left a single instruction with the Secretary: to be played when needed. The house judged it was time.

There are stories he doesn’t tell, and a drawer he doesn’t open. But this one he recorded for you. Play it once, alone.

What We Build Together

The founder at the Baphuon, Angkor — on the one thing nobody builds alone. Bill’s standing question, answered from the stone.

The Trenches

Who’s in the trenches with you — the people you can call and rely on.

Bill Archive File #001

Where the crooked grin comes from. The file the c1ub was never supposed to find.

The Pocket Door

Cameron, in fifty seconds — how to hang the c1ub on your phone so the house opens in one tap.

Put the c1ub in your pocket.

Hang the crest on your phone’s home screen and the c1ubhouse opens like an app — full screen, one tap, no app store. One minute, and the door is never more than a pocket away.

Rather be shown? Cameron walks it in The Pocket Door, just above.

Bill’s standing question

“What can we build together — to make this the best c1ub in the world?”

It’s not a slogan; it’s an open invitation, and the house answers it a little more every week. Learn something, teach something, meet somebody — and bring what you’re building to the room. Every answer starts the same way: say hello.

The Conversations

The room, talking.

Introductions, wins, asks, and notes to the house. Write like you'd talk at the long table — everyone here is building something.

The house is fetching the conversations…
The Radio

A private line to any member.

Every locker has a frequency. Tune one in and say hello — what's said on the line stays off the board, member to member.

Dead air
The switchboard

Pick a line on the left, or open a new one.
Every member's frequency is one hello away.

The Study

The c1ub, walked like a round.

Six wings, every room with its own door. The names and the look are country c1ub; the content is how you build, scale, and grow in the age of AI. Take the rooms in order, or wander — the house doesn't rush its members.

The Calendar

The season, on one sheet.

Every meeting and gathering on the estate, shown in your time — the house does the timezone math. Tap a meeting for the room link, or add it to your own calendar and it keeps itself.

The Locker Room

The lockers.

Every member who ever walked in has a number engraved here. Furnish yours in My Locker — a furnished locker is how the room finds you.

My Locker

Locker № ---

Your nameplate in the room. Say what you're building and what you're open to — the c1ub is a hallway of people who help each other.

Your cards & honors

Furnish the locker

The locker door Open — members can read your card and pictures in the Locker Room.

This is how the room finds its own — it’s searchable in the Locker Room.

No site yet? We can help you build one — write to the Secretary.

Golfer, or non-golfer?

The card shows on your locker in the Locker Room. The house keeps the register; edit any time.

Pictures in your locker

Your portrait The little picture by your name — on your posts, your replies, your locker.

Hang up to six — the room sees them on your locker. Star one and it hangs front and center, the first thing the room sees.

Nothing on the wall yet. Your work, a win, the view from your desk — whatever feels like you.

A picture straight from your phone or computer works. Tap one to see it big; take one down any time.
