Every club has a first name in the book. Ours is Jarrod Saltzman.
Agent #001. One of the first members to walk through the gate when the doors opened — and one of the first to see enough on the other side to upgrade his key from Starter to Pro. In a c1ub built on recognition, on levels, on playing the game the way it's meant to be played, that kind of early conviction means something. It's why the first Member of the Month plaque in the Pro room carries his name.
Spend a round with Jarrod and you understand why he moved first. He's a husband and a father. He's an avid golfer with the positive attitude of a man who genuinely loves the work of getting better — always measuring, always adjusting, always looking for one more way to improve his game. On the course and off it, he plays the long game with a smile.
And when the moment calls for it, he'll deliver his signature line completely deadpan:
"60% of the time it works all the time."— Jarrod Saltzman, Agent #001
Who Is Jarrod Saltzman?
Behind the grin is a serious résumé. Jarrod spent 35 years manufacturing premium promotional apparel and accessories for some of the largest brands on earth — including Disney, Marvel, and Walmart. By every business measure, he made it. He knows fabric. He knows quality. He knows exactly what separates apparel that lasts from apparel that doesn't.
These days he also coaches — working with leaders and teams through DISC-based coaching, helping people understand how they're wired and how to lead the people around them. It's the same instinct that shows up in the c1ub: Jarrod is the guy who makes the group better, then asks what else he can work on.
Make the Unconscious Conscious
Ask Jarrod about growth and he won't hand you a hack. He'll hand you a mirror. On a recent podcast, he reached for a line that tells you exactly how deep his game goes:
"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate."— a line Jarrod returns to often, after Carl Jung
That's the game underneath the game — the one Jarrod actually plays. Not the scorecard. The patterns behind the scorecard. The habits, the standards, the quiet agreements you've made with yourself without ever saying them out loud.
Golf turned out to be his greatest teacher here. Not because of the trophies — because of the pursuit. Showing up, measuring honestly, and getting one percent better than the man he was yesterday. He fell in love with that pursuit while his health was quietly slipping, and it changed everything: Jarrod lost 75 pounds and became, in the truest sense, a new version of himself.
The man who built standards for global giants started holding the line on his own. And out of that transformation came a name for it.
Rex Novus: There's a King in the Mirror
Rex Novus is Latin for "The New King."
It's Jarrod's newest venture — premium apparel made for the person who is done settling for the smaller version of their life. But the name isn't about ruling anyone else. It's about finally ruling yourself: your standards, your habits, your body, your direction. The crown stitched into every piece is not a logo. It is a target. It represents the version of you that you already know is in there — the one standing just behind your reflection, waiting for you to catch up.
Comfort will cost you the crown. Discipline will hand it back.
And because Jarrod spent three and a half decades on the factory side of the industry, Rex Novus is built on a simple, almost rebellious promise: premium fabrics and real, lasting quality — without the premium price. He knows precisely where the money goes, and where it gets wasted on markups that never touch the fabric. A brand built on discipline can't cut corners on the one thing it makes.
Every Rex Novus piece stands on three pillars:
Earn the Crown
Nobody hands you the title. You don't inherit it, buy it, or fake it. You earn it — in the early mornings, the hard reps, the honest mirror, the promises you keep when no one is watching.
Standards Matter
You will never outperform the standard you secretly accept for yourself. Raise the standard, and everything downstream of it rises too — your work, your body, your relationships, your self-respect.
Discipline Is Freedom
Most people get this backward. Discipline isn't the cage — it's the key. The structure you build today is exactly what frees you tomorrow. Discipline isn't punishment. It's self-respect, paid in advance.
First through the gate. First to upgrade his key. First name on the Pro plaque. Jarrod plays the c1ub's game the way he plays golf — positive, present, and permanently working on the next one percent. Agent #001, on the record.
The Scene: Agent #001 Enters the Pro Shop
Every member of the c1ub has a story. Jarrod's got a movie scene. Roll the film — Agent #001 walks into The Country C1ub Pro Shop.
The Invitation
If you've been hearing there's more in you — and you're finally ready to answer — Jarrod would be the first to tell you: name the "more," raise one standard, win the morning, measure honestly, and wear the reminder.
